RSS on Social Bookmarking Profiles

Not sure why I didn't ask this question earlier, but does sending the RSS feeds of your profiles on social bookmarking sites to a few aggregators effectively add a couple back links to each social bookmarking post you make?
Or is there no point in adding it if you are simply using these sites to post a bookmark of a new page on a web site?
