Hi.

Google Adsense policy says:

"Place misleading labels above Google ad units. For instance, ads may be labelled "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisements", but not "Favourite Sites" or "Today's Top Offers"."

I am wondering if my nieche is on say "Weight Loss Tips", would it be ok to put a heading as "Weight Loss Tips" or is there likely to be any issues down the line?

Cheers.

Jim.

  • Did you read the TOS? It appears that you did. So what you are asking is it "okay" to not follow the TOS.

Think about that and your answer will reveal itself.

But it's your account to risk.

Just look at what you are proposing. The "accepted" headers clearly say "these are ads" - if it doesn't say that, you are violating TOS.

With adsense, any time you have to stop and wonder "is this OK" - it probably isn't.
