Is This an Acceptable Strategy for Building Niche Sites?

I tried searching for answers, forgive me, so I decided to make a new thread... I need some advice. I'm looking to "dominate" some niches like network marketing, home business, internet marketing, etc.
I've been using Micro Niche Finder and I am very interested in making niche sites/blogs devote to a specific topic, i.e. one site about "network marketing lead generation" another about "network marketing tools" another about "network marketing training" and so forth... obviously the niche keyword will be in the domain of each site...
My questions:
1. Considering that these sites will all come from me, the same IP address, and under the same webmaster tools account, will I be ok in the eyes of Google? Will they think I am trying to take advantage by having multiple sites within the same niche? Note: I will not be having any duplicate content and duplicate keywords accross the sites.
2. Is it acceptable make my own little network of interlinking sites?
3. Is it ok for me to promote ALL sites via my social bookmarking, social networking, article marketing, etc. accounts?
Any other suggestions or things I should know about?
I could simply put all of this content on my main blog, but I thought building niche sites would be a great strategy for ranking well/faster and being more focused...
