I have several infomative sites and i want drive organic traffic to them. I have identify a few ways of doing it, pls correct me ifthey were wrong.

1: Having the right keyword research for both site wide and page wide

2: Article marketing. Most of my sites will have 6 to 7 pages. I plan to submit 10 articles for each page. Can i just send to EZA or shld is end to all the top article directories?

3: I will be submitting all my pages to social bookmarking sites with PR5 and above...

Would the above be enough to generate organic traffic? Please advice.

Thats a good start, just ensure that your bio's in the article directories include your keyword(s).

You can just submit them to EZA but it may be a good idea to also submit them to others so there are a variety of incoming links. You can try Buzzle and GoArticles which have worked great for me.

Social bookmarking is also a good idea, just make sure you bookmark slowly and 'naturally' to stay under the radar. I use SocialBot, Bookmarkign Demon and BookmarkWiz which all have strengths and their own individual weaknesses too.

In addition, you can also try RSS feeds and submit these to Rss directories (I personally use (RSS Bot), and you can also try profile links which have also worked for me.

Using the methods above as part of your overall SEO strategy should be quite sufficient for your sites to drive traffic. Do not however expect this to work instantly, it takes a great deal if hard work, continuous effort, and hopefully a few months down the line you will start to taste the fruits of your labour.....good luck...

I would say that your on the right track but you should build a more diverse backlink portfolio....Try mixing up your backlinks a little rather than sticking with just one type of backlinking method. Here's a few of the ones that I use to rank high with:

    Article Marketing
    Social bookmarks
    Blog Commenting
    Press releases
    Linkwheel (proper -not spun)
    Profile Backlinks

It is good start plans for your site. I suggest you to implement this plan and later on move more with blog comments and participate on your niche related forums, That will help you to get more quality backlinks and that will lead to get more organic traffic.

focus on getting backlinks from a wide variety of sources and don't worry so much about high PR only. all that you are doing is going to help though.

Keyword research is going to be the most important thing you do. Make sure you choose relevant keywords that have very little competition but have sufficient traffic. Google's keyword tool should be fine for gathering this information. Along with everything else you're doing I would make sure your domain names have the keywords in them. Good luck.

  • If all your traffic and links come from the same kind of site... then you have no diversity. This leaves a "footprint" which can be dangerous to your ranking. And it can be difficult to remove.

Google has enough smarts to evaluate link ratios and time on site and traffic sources.

The old... just do this, then do this... and rank days are long gone.

You need to develop a real marketing plan that is diverse and brings you traffic regardless of SEO.
