I have considered using SEnuke to help improve the ranking of my whitehat sites.

Am I likely to risk my current rankings through using such a tool?

Not true at all, senuke is best whitehat tool, save me a lot of time, results are really good if you know how to use it.
What is wrong with updates anyway?

How do you figure SENuke is a whitehat tool? There is nothing whitehat about it.

Well that's a massive generalisation - like pretty much any IM tool out there, you can easily use it in a White hat way. If you use it to replicate what you would normally do then what's black hat about it?

Exactly, and can not really agree with some when say that this is a blackhat tool, or have a lot of updates, etc, please

SE Nuke is too spammy and the methods are beginning to be recognised by the search engines.

There is a tool out there more dangerous (for your competition) in SEO than SE Nuke will ever be.

This tool uses a method that blows SE Nuke out of the water (and rankings),

the user base is restricted to 300 members and sworn to secrecy...

I would go ahead and get senuke, I've always had great success with it, in fact it is the only automation tool I use as it's the only one you need! I don't understand why people are saying its too buggy, there are updates every few days and with an automation tool as complex as senuke you'll always have problems due to the sheer amount of updates needed as sites change their interfaces etc.

I consider SE Nuke grey hat at best for sure. On one hand you get hundreds and hundreds of anchor text backlinks with a mere push of a button. So you know the thing is violating the TOS of all the site owners it's posting on. But I'm not convinced yet that the search engines can recognize when a backlink was created using SE Nuke though. When they can it will be black hat for sure. Until then...

Agreed. It is just a matter of time.

However, if they see hundreds of new links in 1 single day, all having the same anchor text, and all pointing to the same page, I think thats gotta tell something.

If you are really worried about that you can always mix up the anchor text. Some people like to use gateway pages to send all the backlinks to so you're not sending all of the links directly to your money site.

But I mean for the last few months, I've tried sending over 200-300 backlinks to brand new web 2.0 sites a day for a week or 2 with the same anchor text without ever getting sandboxed.

That's how it is right now anyways! And hopefully if your site is relevant, you'd be getting real backlinks from real followers to blend in with too.

I hear from many internet marketers that they don't like this kind of stuff, but these are the same people who admit to never having tried this type of software either.

Well Senuke still works for me so i won't really agree with this and i don't see any threat with its updates

Updates are ESSENTIAL to SENuke. They constantly add new sites for backlinks. Some sites are keen to auto-signup programs like SENuke so they change their signup process--SENuke would be doomed if they didn't update.

There are so many ways to use this tool that it's just ridiculous. It took me a LONG time to get the hang of it--there's a big learning curve as it's not incredibly intuitive. But it gets the job done.

There really is nothing wrong with the updates, after all it's the reason why i still stick with Senuke.

Try link builder pro. Much cheaper than SENuke - works great.

Senuke is one of the best tool in market, been using it from some time now and getting good results. No, sites are not sandboxed or banned using Senuke. You must at least have basic knowledge of SEO. I do not recommend this to newbies.

the best advice anyone can give you I think is just get it for a month and see if it suits you, if not then you have only lost $100 or so and will have gained some backlinks at least.

very few people know how to use these programs correctly, if you don't have the time to learn them on experiment basis do not risk it or you can loose your domain/website.
