Question about Cloaking and direct linking with PPC

Hey there,

I've become gradually interested with doing PPC for some affiliate offers, but I'm still new to it.

I'll start with Facebook's PPC and see where it leads me.

The offer I want to promote right now states something like this in the SEM policies:

You may not use any of our domains as your destination URL or display URL
I want to test things out and want to direct link to the offer's landing page, witch is really good quality. I also have related domains I can use to cloak to the offer's landing page. I'm wondering if this would be acceptable according the above rule.

I know doing this is against AdWords TOS because they want the displayed URL to be the same as the destination URL, but will I be Okay doing this with Facebook and others?

What do people doing Adwords do? They absolutely have to make up their own landing page? Or is it just that it's not common to have a rule from the affiliate manager that prohibit from using their domains as destination urls?

What are the best practices for this kind of marketing?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Anytime you try and circumvent the rules because you see
a way around it is just bad. Period. Whether the url is
cloaked or not, the landing page still is technically the
domain. They purposely put the words "destination url" to
    address cloaking.

But remember, all is "legal" until they find your links and make
a complaint. And they will. Then where are you? You would
be banned on facebook, google, and where ever else they
find them. If they are diligent in the rules, then they do
actively seek out ads from time to time just to keep people
    honest.

Always err on the side of caution.

As Paulgl mentions play by the rules, for the G yes make your own land mini site not page and yes many affiliate merchants will have a no direct link policy, so read every one before linking in.

also never mask a domain in the mighty G, this will fire a few red alerts over at base camp and you can expect the big G hand to be slappin your backside as it kicks you out the door.
