Hello Everyone,

I am new to SEO just made my first wordpress Blog,My blog was Indexed on google on 10th this month that is July. After It was Indexed it was on page 27 of Google For Keyword groom wedding speech.

I made a Youtube video and linked my website to it,within 2 days It was on page 11 for same keyword with 2 posts on my blog. After that I made 2 more posts saved bookmarks on around 20 different bookmarking sites and manged to get a backlink from pr-5 website although that website was not relevant to content of my website thinking it would improve my ranking.

But since 12th july my website was on page 11 yesterday I again saved some bookmarks on Delicious and Linked my website to the youtube video I made earlier. And today I saw my website is on page 13th.

I dont know what the Hell I am doing wrong,Currently my website has 4 posts and content is Keyword rich and is on 13th page of google for keyword groom wedding speech.
Also google shows no result when I type link:my domain in search box even though my blog has a backlink from pr-5 website.

Is my site Sandboxed?? Or there is anything wrong I am doing??
My domain name is groomweddingspeechinfo.org

Some one Plz help.

Abhijeet

I honestly think you're lucky to be on page 13 with that site because the SEO work you've done is minimal at best

youtube links are rel=nofollow meaning they don't pass link juice (youtube account pages however do pass link juice)

also if the pr5 link you're talking about was a blog comment there's a good chance that is also a rel=nofollow link so that won't be passing credit either

while "groom wedding speech" is not a hard keyword to rank for at all you will need to submit some articles and get more links if you want to go higher

B.T.W there is no sandbox, don't worry about that BS

there is however what I like to call a "trust box" where you don't rank where you should while google learns to trust your site and usualy this only happens if you start getting hundreds of links a day from day one so I wouldn't worry about that either

If it's a forum link do you mean profile link or a link in a thread?

If this is the case I very much doubt it's a pr5 link, just because the home page of the forum is a pr5 does not mean the page where your link is placed is a pr5

        that's a common newbie misconception

On page your site is fine, you just don't have enough links, that's the only problem

yes that is a genuine pr5 link and it is a good link to have but you have to remember that there are a lot of links on that page and the more links there are the less they're worth

side note - you may want to now edit your previous post and remove that forum address because plenty of vultures will read this and then put links on themselves which will ultimately make your link worth less

I don't think this is the sandbox because you never even got higher than page 11 in the first place.

Your SEO was minimal but not what you'd call nothing. Especially that pr 5 link, but irrelevant sites linking to you, they will pass link juice but they will not pass the right flavour, is my experience and my way of trying to convey it. Think of your niche and your site's target keywords as a flavour and think of that pr 5 site as another flavour, well they pass their "juice" it's more juice for you but the wrong flavour. So it doesn't match you up for the right keywords.

Dunno if I'm explaining this well. But this is what I have observed.

Also, your site is less than a month old, less than 2 weeks old since you set it up? Whoa. That is like, no time at all to let SEO do its thing. give it more time.

It's called the google dance. Your blog will dance around the listings until google decides what to do with it. Then every once in a while your listing will do the dance again. Just keep at it. Rarely does a website or blog stay locked in a single position for very long.
