Best SEO Competition Analysis Tools

I'm looking for tools to help me diagnose and reverse engineer my competitors.

Specifically I'm looking for tools that can help me
  1. Analyze competitors incoming anchor text
  2. Analyze on page factors, such as keyword density
  3. Incoming link analysis, such as PR, domain PR
  4. Monitor competitors rankings
I have seen SEOMoz's tools but I don't think those are suited to analyze competitors. Ideally I'd like for the tool to monitor the first page for a specific keyword, although if needed I could manually enter my main competitors.

What would you guys use or suggest?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I have MS but I didn't think that it could analyze the anchor text for incoming links. Can it?

  • market samuri does all this as mentioned already but it is quite expensive. Free methods for getting back links are the LINK: put in to yahoo search, traffic travis and backlinkwatch.com.

SEO Spyglass is probably the best tool for competition analysis. It supports a lot more search engines than Market Samurai so it will find a lot more links.

You can also use Market Samurai SEO Competition Module. In order to use that, you will need to have the full version of Market Samurai.

SEO Spyglass has a free version that can find you up to 1000 links. I suggest you give it a shot. It is really powerful and will get you all the information you need.

MS is good but to analyze the competition for backlinks anchor text you have to go one by one, I think and that takes too much time.

I would want a tool that can tell me how well anchor texts are optimized for the top ten in one go.

Webceo and IBP are other great tools and you can test them. These softwares analyze your and the competitor's website for both on page and off page factors.
