What do you think of using tld domain as part of the keyword ?

What do you think of using the tld domain as part of the keyword ?

examples:
Keyword: cardiovascular domain: cardiovascul.ar


keyword: cyborg domain: cyb.org

does it work ? My theory is that it doesnt work. would like to hear your comments

    Good question!

    You have one drawback in that you won't get exact match domain props with cardiovascul.ar. Although I have never tested this theory, it would seem to me that the domain name would tell Google you are targeting "cardiovascul" similar to how Bit.ly ranks #1 for "Bit"

    Plus I would assume just as the .org bias case study SEOmoz published in June, where they rank higher most likely because they tend to get more links.. .ar would probably not pull in as many links as more commonly used extensions.

      I have checked bit.ly
      #2 for bit (after wikipedia)
      #1 for bitly (without the dot)
      Its hard to tell with this example

      Until there is a research on this, I suppose the answer is avoid this.
