What is the rate for write+rewrite article?

Hi guys (and gals)

I decide to outsource my article writing and rewriting but still don't know the standard rate. If I want an article created and each of the sentece spunned once, how much should I pay?

      WOW!! That is awesome! $2.50 for 500 words? If you get a quality article for that price then you have found a gem! Wish I were so lucky. :-(

    depends on the length and the topic. You can get one good article for $3 and $5 for high end content (for guest posts, etc...)

      Where can I get articles written for that rate? I've been using elance providers for a while and $10/article is the best that I can get (500 words)

    Hey,

    Why not hire people from this forum who have a good thread running in the WSO or classifieds section?

    Read the reviews, and maybe even PM a few folks who's names are mentioned in the reviews. (Be nice while doing so, they aren't obliged to reply to your queries) More often then not, you'll get some pleasant replies and recommendations.

    All work that you get for $3-$4 an article will need to be proof read by you, if your serious about the kind of content you or your website get associated with.

    But, all in all, you're bound to land a good deal!

    Spun article can cost about $10
    article writing ( I had 10 articles for $3 each at guru.com and they all passed copyscape i.e. they are all unique)

    So if I have to pay $15 to have:
    - 1 article written (the writer did his own research)
    - each sentence is spunned 2 x (so there is 3 version for each sentence)
    is it too much? How much is the appropriate rate for such work?

    I typically do spun articles for around 17 dollars a pop. They are super high quality, unique and get a submission to UAW for tons of backlinks in addition to the article itself.
