Does anyone here now the time it takes to get sitelinks or how the process can be improved to get them?

    I did read ages ago that your site needed to be 3 years old or longer, not sure how much truth was in this.

      You read wrong. Most of my sites that have them are less than 3yrs.

      There is no time frame; there is no way to expedite the process; backlinks do not matter; and it has NOTHING to do if you think your site is an 'authority' or not.

      Google will add them algorithmically and display them if the algorithm thinks they will be useful to the searcher.

      The only thing you can really do to help is make sure you have a clear and logical site navigation.
