Are micro niche adsense sites (xfactor, clickbump) really dead

I have been reading up on the clickbump and xfactor methods but I am hearing a lot of people say these types of sites are dead. However if you look around this forum these days you will see a lot of people posting, saying things are dead. Article marketing is dead, backlinking is dead, blah blah blah is dead, you get the idea. That's why I wanted to ask here and see if there is anyone still doing the micro niche sites with adsense and doing somewhat decently with it. Right now I am looking to build it up to $50/day with adsense and MAYBE $100/day eventually but I have also heard that once you get p towards the $100/day that's where it gets more risky and migher chances of getting banned or deindexed. I'd love to hear some feedback on this. Thanks a lot

  • Cweber,

I have read Xfactors course and some other courses on adsense. Even Xfactor himself says the sites are not dead, but they need to have good unique content on them.

His new method is towards a site with more content on one site which is structured properly, this way becoming an authority site for the chosen niches..

You should go and read a thread on this here and see what you take from that. You could also do no harm by looking into the A100k Blueprint course too. This is the one i favour out of the two. It is a great course which will show you the way you need to build out your site with unique content and good SEO to assist you to rank and therfore earn.

THere is most definately good money to be earned with adsense, but you need to build the business up correctly and have slightly bigger sites than the "OLD" xfactor way which many marketers took to building only 1-2 pages. That is a thin site!

  • Many people spreas false rumours in hope of blocking the competition. Many say google has started dropping low volume sites. But if this is the case then google should have banned 1 page sales letter sites. As we know this is not the case. The best way is to learn by testing yourself.

    • They might not be dead, but I think they are harder to rank then bigger sites with quality content.

I've heard others argument that Google would have banned 1 page sales letter sites if this was the case. But how often do you see 1 page sales letter sites in the top results of Google? Personally, never.

  • All depend on whether or not you do them correctly as with everything else out the... Stick to the rules and guidelines and you're good to go.
  • I find if you choose the right niche you don't have to have huge authority site to rank. These sites are imho far from being dead. Adsense is one of the main incomes for Google, and I'm pretty sure that they are aware of these microsites. And they will not ban them as these sites convert _very_ well. Just my 2c.

  • I can personally guarantee you that they are not 'dead.' If they were, I'd be losing ALOT of money lol. But it is all about keyword selection and unique content.
  • Mini-Adsense sites are not dead...but these days Googles getting smarter and smarter. if you mkake a minisite full of low quality content, it will probably end up way down the rankings at some point even if you do end up getting good rankings initially...

If you make a mini-adsense site, focus on providing top quality content on it - thats the best long term strategy.
