Hi.

If Adsense is used on Blogspot, do you still have to display the T&C of Adsense or does the blog take care of that?

Cheers.

Jim.

If you want to add it, go ahead. I've always thought because it's a
google product and has adsense integration built in, the point is moot.
The site is owned by google. Same with amazon. Amazon also requires
statements, but it would seem to be also moot as amazon is a partner.

Technically, blogspot is a google partner that you are sharing revenue with,
but blogpsot takes no cut and gives it all to you.

Google would seem to bear the responsibility of privacy policies on google
products, and anyone that uses a google product should also be aware of
the privacy policies. While not directly linked, your blog is linked to the
blogspot homepage which has the privacy policy linked.

People think they feel safe by adding a privacy policy, so, go for it. Adding
a privacy policy will get you nowhere if you are breaking the rules. I think
people put a privacy policy as way to keep google eyes at bay, but it doesn't.

I never run an Adsense page without a link in the footer to my Privacy Policy.

The way I see it, it takes me less than 5-min. to copy & paste my Privacy Policy from another one of my existing domains, load the Privacy Policy into Windows Notepad & do a simple entire page Replace with the new domain name, then create a new page on the new site, paste the new Privacy Policy.

A 5-min. job & the entire domain is covered with a Privacy Policy, link in the footer of every single page.

    Done!

I think both points made are very good. You may as well spend a couple of extra minutes and create a privacy policy to be safe.

I have never tried that. But I guess you really have to add one.
