the question is....
if you have a niche type blog that you are only wanting to focus / compete for just a few keyword / keyword phrases, is it better to set up the "read" as a static page with (your main keyword) or your last post.

i hope i am being clear or making since.

thanx

You can use either a static page or a sticky post.

If you're going for an exact match domain or just want to target one main keyword with your sites main page then there are a number of ways you can use your front page with either one post or page.

There is also an effective way you can do this using multiple posts on your page as well.

You can usually go for one main keyword and perhaps 5-6 related keywords per post/page if you know how to make it effective.

in your opinion, which way is the most effective way of getting your target keyword phrase the most "power" in the eyes of the search engines?

the truth of t he matter, i did not know you could post a particular post on a particular page.

like i said before, you just don't know what you don't know!
