Hi all, so I have a new 2-mth old website which has made me a few sales because some of the product keywords were on the 1st and 2nd page of Google.

I heard some rumblings about a big algo change in G. Sure enough, I checked my site a few days ago and I've lost all my rankings. My site is now somewhere on page 50++. I don't know if it's the Google dance or something else.

I saw somewhere else someone was mentioning to add more content. So I'm stuck. I was excited to have thought that finally I've done something right but when this happened I got very frustrated.

So I need some advice. I hope some kind soul/s can help me out here. Do I add more content, continue my backlinking efforts or just build another site?

Btw, do I have to remove tracking for Analytics and webmaster tools from this site?

Any advice I really appreciate. Hope to hear some input guys. Thanks

what is the source of backlinks? if its just blog comment spam and forum profile then its not enough to make your site stick in 1st page.

Yeah there are so many factors. A lot of times new sites can jump up fast for low comp terms and fall out just as fast. Look at your overall quality of links and start building more and better ones. And yes get more content on the site. Unique content that is ;-)
