What are good backlinks nowadays?

all links work the same as it did in 2010. I build blog comments but not spammy comments, website directories, profile links, .edu links, article directories, interlinking on my own site.

when I first build a website, I like to find out my top ten competetion and type there keyword and website into backlinkwatch.com and see what acnhor text they are targeting and where they are getting their links. Then I try and get the exact same links.

I get a lot of my quality links by reverse engineering the top sites in Google. This lets you find out where they got their links and you can get them too. Sounds too simple to work, but it does.

Put your link on any page that has actual page rank and you are golden. Only get PRn/a and PR0 links if you can do it in an automated fashion to keep link velocity flowing.

There are no changes in backlinks from 2010 up to now. So that means all backlinks work.

Its all about relevance and how well the page you are getting a link from has been shared within the Social Networking World.

Have no fear! Backlinks still work.

I mainly get backlinks with article distribution and rankings from those links remained steady through the latest Google updates.

How powerful are backlinks from Web Directories?

I was wondering is it worth submitting your site to hundereds of Web Directories or is it only worth spending time submitting to around 50 or 60 which have a good PR.
