    Hi, matrixv.
I use semrush for this purpose. go to SEMRush
enter your competitors url, and then you will see a partial list of keywords of your competitor. If you want to see a full list, you'll have to buy an account, so may be it will be enough for you to use free trial.

    Hope it will help you.

I got Rank Crusher recently. I am sure it does a similar job to SEM Rush with regard to backlinks and stuff.

Alexa has some data on this. I clicked the Alexa plugin I have in my browser and get a list to choose from and I picked Traffic Stats for this page and I got Warriorforum.com Site Info from Alexa.

You could also analyse the competitors webpage yourself by going to seobook dot com/keywords and type in your competitors website url. it will then give you all the keywords and keyword phrases that your competitor is using from this it is very obvious to tell what keywords or keyword phrases your competitor is trying to rank for.

then to find out what he is ranking for SEMRush i 3rd or just type in the keyword/phrases that you have discovered he trying to rank for and check which position this guy is on google. This will also tell you exactly how well he is doing.

SEMrush is your best option for this.

You can also use SEO SpyGlass to analyze what keywords they are targeting through the anchor text of their backlinks.

      Hello Spen!
Alexa counts all traffic from all sources, semrush counts it only from google, from TOP 20, and only for keywords from semrush database.

For a website to rank highly in the search engine results pages (SERP), it usually requires some form of optimization..It often makes sense to target longer, more specific key phrases with which to optimise a page. These are known as long tail keywords.

To find out what your most targeted keywords are, you need a keyword analysis service, such as Wordtracker. Well I use Wordtracker
