Do low keyword density and word density issues on my web pages affect search engine ranking?

Is there a maximum number of back links that a 1 and a 1/2 year old website can have according to google and other search engines?

Most preffered keyword density is less than 5%...and for backlinks ..google dont have any disclosure on that but making 20 links/day for beginner site and 30-40/day for renowned site seems natural for google.Further can be calculated for half or a full year too..

No, keyword density should be less than 8% in most cases. About 3% is good. Amount of backlinks for ranking high is different according to competition on your desired keywords.

dont worry much about density, jus write articles that have keyword in 1st sentence , few times in text (when natural) and in end of article. but i think its most imortant to look natural. and ofcourse H1 H2 tag

If you have lower than 3% density, you may hurt your rankings (not definitely though)

As long as you still have the keyword in your h1 tag, meta title, etc., then you could still get very good rankings with a low keyword density.

Latest version of Easy WP SEO plugin (WSO) default settings are 2% to 5.5%. But I don't feel comfortable going up to 5%++, I try and stay in between 2% and 4%.
