I am afraid that it doesn't work like the old time. Wp robot created duplicate content.
The new algorithm of google is mainly based to destroy your rankings if you have duplicate content. I would opt out for an article spinner if you don't have time to write articles.

Sorry but this is misinformed and wrong.

WP Robot does not create duplicate content, it syndicates content from article directories. If you don't have time to write articles it's better to pay somebody else to write them than spin them, or you could republish from directories keeping the author bio intact.

Thank you imfusa and patricia. There is a thread here for wp robot for $15. And I got an email also. How is it a scam? It is from affiliates not original owner of WPR. Not a legitimate license perhaps.

I have a program that will drop an article with links, video and amzn but not automatically. I think I will save my money, so thanks for the replies. Too bad WP Robot was a great program at one time.

  I've had many emails and there was a thread here about those emails and the very cheap offer being a scam and it isn't legitimate affiliates selling it so cheap.   On here you will find offers from affiliates for $129 and that's the cheapest I've seen the true product selling for.

  You can go to the directories yourself and copy and paste the articles complete with the author bio and article source. Most directories provide the html source code so you can paste into the source of your site and make sure the author links are live.
  
  Or software such as WP robot will import articles by keyword. The last time I looked there was a choice of 2 directories and a press release site.
  
  You can also use Market Samurai to search for and republish articles.

Wasn't aware that the price had dropped that much, are you sure that it isn't the $20 scam that you've seen.

I'm still using it on several of my sites but never used it as an auto blogger. I've just added an article of my own to one of my blogs and within seconds added a couple of videos and an Amazon ad to the page. A big saving on time and I've made my blog post more interesting.

I still use some of the better articles that WP Robot imports and build up the pages with extra content, but I wouldn't dream of using the spinner, not for my own articles and definitely not for the articles that it imports written by other people.

It's syndicating not copying and it's very easy to build up informative pages that offer value using content imported by WP Robot mixed in with your own fresh content. I should think that there would be more harm to long term business by unnaturally adding 30,000 backlinks to a site monthly than republishing articles.

Yeah but that's the whole problem, people who buy WP-Robot are mostly looking for a one click solution which results in a duplicate website that has nothing to do with syndicating content.

The use of the tool that I have been describing does not tally with your description so perhaps it's better not to generalise, we all use tools differently.

Syndicating is not duplicate content to google. Duplicate content is when you duplicate a page on one site. I've been using WP Robot to help build about 20 of my sites and none have been deindexed. But I don't autoblog with it.

Yes it is better to have quality unique content on your site but it does no harm to use a tool like this to add videos etc to a page and syndicate the better articles. It's also about adding value and user experience not just unique content.

Perhaps you should learn to read and understand at the same time. But I understand that is too much for certain people.

No need to be rude. Perhaps you should do a search of this forum for the meaning of duplicate content and you will find that far more experienced and respected marketers than myself agree with the fact that duplicate content in Googles eye is when the same content is duplicated on the same site and that when the same content is on other sites it is syndicated. WP Robot is a tool for syndicating content.

It's not that it is duplicate content. Its just that you will never rank well and generate significant traffic using content that is already published and indexed all over the web. I'm not speaking from theory here. I was a big fan of autoblogging about a year ago. I tested it thoroughly.

I had literally thousands of published pages in 4 different niches from WP robot that was as you say "syndicated" which is still "copied" no matter how you choose to say it.

I still have a couple of those sites but they waiting to be re purposed to something more useful. Those thousands and thousands of pages never brought traffic or income that even came close to touching the results of a mere 10 pages of well written, keyword targeted unique content with very little seo work done(think one article distribution each).

It was for me anyway, a COMPLETE waste of time. And if you think about it, it serves no useful purpose on the net to simply republish stuff that is already published. Why would google rank several copies of the same content? They won't and they don't. Not only that but Panda was specifically designed to target weak content sites. Google has said very clearly that they are looking for real fresh value and the writing on the wall suggests that they are taking action accordingly.

I can make one page of unique content outperform 100 pages of scraped junk every time and it is much easier and faster to create.

With all that said, if you just want to add more stuff for people to read on your site, by all means go ahead but if you want it to bring you lots of traffic...good luck.

I had the same experience. Copied, syndicated, duplicate or whatever you call it just doesn't bring traffic on my experience. Unlike unique content which is easier to rank.

It all depends how you look at it. I've never used this as an autoblogger, or to get traffic, just to quickly add more interesting things to my sites. I use fresh unique content too and that's where I send the traffic. Bounce rates are also important and the more there is of interest the longer visitors stay on the sites. So in that sense my sites are Panda friendly. However, no matter whether content is unique or syndicated my sites always get a boost with a new post.

  wp robot still working.... i use it in conjunction with another software, a software that will generate 2 different content for both human and google bot

Syndicating is duplicate contents in Google eye. If you want your site on the first page of Google, you are better having a unique contents for your site. I stopped using wp robot after 50 of my sites deindexed by Google!

you can use it to syndicate article content, sure... but I think it's best used now for auto posting a related yt video into a stream of original blog posts every 5-10 posts ... if you don't have your own video, it can be good to add video embeds to your blog every few posts to help reduce bounce rates.

Yes that's how I've been mainly using it for over 2 years and especially with my music blogs, but every couple of posts and I like to tag an Amazon ad on sometimes. I think that adding videos has improved bounce rates and I believe that's good as far as Google is concerned. Saves a lot of time. Never autoblogged with it as such because I like to check the quality before posting. Also wouldn't recommend using the Yahoo Answers module. Imports a lot of rubbish and the comments can be quite offensive.

  No you shouldn't. These articles come from article directories and subject to the terms and conditions of those article directories. That is you can use the articles on your sites or ezines providing you do not alter them and you include the author bio and active links.
  
  Even more important is that the authors retain copywrite which means that you have no right to do whatever you want with the articles.

It's just like Patricia stated, WPRobot is fine for syndicating content and works well if what you want to do is add some interesting content and variety to a blog or website. Autoblogging option/feature using WPRobot or any other service or application will eventually get you slapped by Google but besides a slap it is pretty useless as a traffic tool and even worse at conversions. Autoblogging service in and of itself serves no useful purpose and if you truly would like to increase traffic or conversion traffic on your affiliate site consider learning about content curation...and before some fellow warrior starts flaming me, content curation gets mad love from google, but like syndication it is a means and not an end. In other words, success with this method comes with mixing curated content (w/attribution) with original content and some time to have the site content optimized...you stand a much better chance of success with conversion traffic with this approach than using a tool like wprobot to autoblog and spin the content with the best spinner or other service spinner.

WP Robot is excellent and is still useful. You can use subscription based spinning API's with it which allow you to create relatively unique content.

If you're syndicating content and posting it to your blogs then it's probably the best product for doing this reliably.

It is always advantageous if you yourself write your own articles, manually crafted and not spinned articles, that shares your views, and your heart as well. Using such robots, for whatever purpose, does not reflect blogger's sincerity, that will soon be felt by the readers of your blog, no matter how crafty you are.
