UK domains that rank on page 1 in Google USA

Anyone know any websites with a UK domain name (.co.uk, .org.uk etc) that appear at position #1 on Google USA for whatever keywords?

Is it actually that difficult for a uk domain to get HIGH rankings on Google.com? Yes it has been easy (ish) for me to get my site on position 2 in google uk but in USA, it's much harder to get even on page 1.

    It really depends on where you are seraching from, I see many .co.uk sites ranking number 1 on google.com but that is because I am searching from the UK. Google takes the location of the searcher into consideration when returning results.

    I agree with andy, I am also seeing .co.uk in page 1 cause I am at london may be for the reason, try to use google.com and try and see..

    But I believe slowly google are changing their updates cause they change their algorithm every single day but whenever they do major, they share on their blog..

    To see what really appears where, I recommend the Google Global add-on:
    redflymarketing.com/internet-marketing-tools/google-global/

    That allows you to set different parameters like location etc. so you can see how/what people in the US and even in different US cities (or other countries) when they type in certain keywords in Google.
