The Value of Forum Posting

I would think you would be well served to run a test on this idea.

For example:
Group 1: build 10 sites and do no backlinking at all to them. Wait 3 months and see where they are at (I am assuming you're picking niches in which competition is low, and, you still have a shot of establishing some ranking without links).

Group 2: build 10 sites in the SAME niches, backlink to them with forum posts for a month or two. Be consistent and use some kind of system for this. After 3 months, compare the two results.

Not only will you then know whether or not your process has legs, but you will have some fantastic content to share on the Warrior Forum or your own personal blog.

I'll let you know since I am in forums alot myself and seeing what works and what doesn't. I try to help people out all I can and get people to my blog as well. I think anything you try you need to give it some time, but you are right about forum marketing being easy. Simply discuss things like we are doing here for quite awhile and see what results you get over time. Have a good day.

If you participate in forums that related to your niche, It will be very much beneficial for your site. Since the person may bring business by seeing your site in the signature.

I never mind in participation do-follow or no-follow forums. But it should be related to your niche.

I agree with this, its more natural to have do follow and no follow mix and if the niche is relevant i believe it helps even if no follow for backlinks.

If you consistently post in forums related to your niche, it will have a beneficial SEO effect. But you will also get a lot of direct traffic from forum posting, especially if you set yourself up as an authority figure by providing real value and genuinely kelping others. It can be a very powerful way to generate targeted traffic.

For some of my personal blogs i just use forum posting. And believe me or not all of them are in a good position with a PR of 2/4 and good amount of visitors.
So i should say that Forums are really awesome.

Forum posting is a great source where you can share knowledge as well as get backlinks and traffic to your site. Just keep continuing the forum posting and you see the result, your site rank well.

Don't focus on geting backlink from dofollow forum as this is not so important after google penguin, just write interesting and useful information to reader, make them click your signature if they interested your posting. Also don't mind if the post is related to your niche, just give useful information to other's is the key to sucess now to deal with google penguin.

Forum posting works for those who provide engaging information and compelling answers. Start new threads, leave comments related to your niche, and try to help other users find answers to their questions. If your posts provide value to other users, you will get traffic and backlinks.

As far as backlinks? Not much.

However, you can drive VERY targeted traffic to your sites, offers, whatever, via forum posting. It's one of my favorite methods. The traffic isn't enormous but it tends to convert very well.
