Anybody successfully reinstate a banned Adwords account?

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody here has had success in reinstating their banned Adwords account? My account was banned last year because Google claimed my site had "unsubstantiated claims". I'm in the diet/fitness niche and I understand that they have been cracking down hard on many sites.

I've updated my site and removed all language about "guaranteed results" "proven techniques", etc. and will be contacting them about reinstating my account. Do you think I have a chance of success?

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

    I can kind of see about writing stuff like 'Guaranteed Results' but i think 'Proven techniques' should be fine as it could have worked for 1 person, but it might not work for everyone.

    On topic: No, i do not know of anyone who has had their ban removed

      Getting banned by Goofle Adsenese might be the best thing that ever happened to you...

      ... My AdSense monies are WAY down. So I pulled the plug on it, and I'm selling ads on my site instead. This way is so much more profitable. I'm able to go directly to these advertisers and get 100% of the money.

        Not a bad idea, i know its not a great time for a few people i know that use Adsense. I am still doing fairly OK as it stands though but i do like to diversity it a little bit.

        Don't put all your eggs in 1 basket.

    Yes, you should try. Last month, my banned Adwords Account have just recovered.

    But, in my case, I immediately contacted the Adwords Rep, at the same day I noticed that my adwords have been banned.

    You must get an email that told you that your Adwords account has violated TOS. Just reply to this email and explain your situation CLEARLY and DETAIL.

    I explain my situation in 3 emails. At first, they didn't take my explanation and said that my account is violated their TOS. I reply the email again and explain my situation in more detail. In the third email, they take my explanation and recovered my account.

    Just talk to the Adwords Representative nicely, they are willing to listen and help you.
