Wordpress.com Blog Domain Authority

I see a lot of wordpress.com blogs with a 100 domain authority. When I just created a wordpress.com blog, the domain authority is only 7. Why is this since it's still from the same root domain?

I think you're mixing up domain authority and page authority. All Wordpress.com blogs have a domain authority of 100. The "7" figure is page authority.

My page authority is "1" and the domain authority is "7". I didn't post any posts as I just created the blog, but shouldn't this read "100" regardless?

Well it's new, you have to wait for OSE to crawl you before they have metrics for your subdomain.

I understand. So over time (once OSE crawls it) it will gain the "100" domain authority?

Yeah that's probably the way it'll work out. OSE has a way smaller index than Google though, so it could take awhile. If I remember right, they update their stats monthly.
