How aggressively can you do SEO without being redflagged by Google?

Let's say you start right by having an aged domain, at least 5 years old.

And further lets say you have SEO optimizers working on your site, all submitting high quality articles.

Is there a limit on how much they could submit without it being a redflag to google?

If there isn't, couldn't you simply acquire an aged domain, and powerhouse your way to the top of search results?

I have a 9 year old domain and barely have to touch off page SEO to rank well. I do admit that off page SEO is required to take the #1 position but page 1 or 2 is easily attainable with minimal work I put into every page when I release new content.

A solid domain is much more then merely 5 years, it is about having a good foundation, excellent internal linking between pages and content that not only makes sense but keeps users on the site.

I do not believe that we need to be aggressive. Rather i would like to be effective. I got your point. But thing is there is no way to bypass Google and get success in IM.
