To obtain backlinks you shouldn't have to register anything. I will assume that is your problem. Have you considered outsourcing your backlinking to a reputable source?

Ok, so your backlink building by posting forum signatures?

They are simply not powerful enough to get you ranked.

You should be Guest Posting on other sites to get backlinks. Its free and not only builds links but also drives traffic to your site.

    Hi there!

When it comes to backlinking, the most effective way to get you rank is to build articles and insert about 2 links in it. One links is referred to your money and the other link must be a naked link. This approach is designed to balance your link density and prevent being considered as a spammer.

Use Article Samurai to syndicate your article to several quality article directories and blog networks. Aside from that, consider posting links on guest blogs that are related to your niche.

    Hope this helps.

Tip: Build pages around keywords that don't have much competition but are VERY "buyer targeted."

    Random example: "Samsung 42LCD54 price"

These types of keywords tend to have very little competition. Sure, the traffic won't be huge but you won't need to do much backlinking to get them to rank. (As long as your content is good.) Spend some time ranking as many of these types of sites / pages as you can and go from there. You should earn enough to reinvest into tools or services that can help you rank for more competitive keywords.

I just launched a website you may find useful in finding backlinks for your website. It's called Promoting Your Blog. Here you can easily fine tune a search for either Google or Bing that will return results you can use. You can filter your search query to just return .gov or .edu sites, or one's include the word comment on the page.
