If you're looking for quick rankings then you're better off choosing lower competition keywords, which won't take as much effort to rank.

Quality > Quantity.

I agree, Speed is the worst idea. They will be low quality links that will not help you rank better.

I can get any site to rank fairly quickly but it costs $$ to buy quality backlinks or start a quality niche blog network my friend.

Speed kills as they say.

If your concern is just to build as many link as quickly then you may use many SEO Softwares available out there in the online market for it. However as other said I do also agree that quality of links matters more than quantity and instead of making links quickly it shall be more helpful in case you try to make links on regular basis for your websites.

It is safer if you slow down a little bit. The only thing that Google likes is "human consumable" content and nature backlinks. Try to do some guest posting on relevant blogs/sites.

If just getting backlinks is your main aim than you can go to fiverr there are many gigs that provide link blasts also in the warrior for hire section.

You can also submit a press release to PRweb.com if you want really high amount of backlinks and that too from some good sources.

press release sydication alone will not be good enough sorry to say.

if you are on a budget do not bother with press releases.

Go and have a look at some of my posts on press releases I give some good tips away.

Its not about writing a crappy article and posting that up to free press releases.

tis more about HIGH QUALITY newsworthy content, that will get eyeballs to your site. How are you doing this for your clients? I do not see this on your site? Having one paid press release on PRWEB is far better than having a crappy written press release spun and spammed to the 100000 FREE press releases out there. Just saying!

I can see a link for "SEO Forum" in your signature, without having deep and great ideas on SEO, how it is possible for you to moderate and run SEO Forum? I wonder... Again, what you are getting from your signature here is too backlinks, Don't you recognize it?

Actually, spinning articles are still effective nowadays as long as you have good content and flow of grammar. After spinning articles, you could syndicate by using Article Network.

On the other hand, don't forget your social media responsibilities, post videos and your forum posts and distribute it to social sites and web 2.0. Have them indexed so that the spider bots can easily crawl to it.

Forum Posting, Social Bookmarking , CLassified is way easy to build lot of backlinks. But you need to keep in mind that quantities of backlink is not main concern now in SEO but quality of backlink.
That is why you do spend the time to get quality backlink from article, press release, guest blog rather than poor quality backlink wiith stuffing same anchor text will get you in trouble.
