Google dance - Panic much?

Hey, so I know this has been brought up many times. But I noticed a lot of people are posting up threads saying that their sites are above and beyond gone.

Today I was panicking because one of my keywords weren't showing up on RANK CHECKER. I believe a lot of us use that. You know your hearts pump when you type in your domain > KW and the result is - instead of a number lol.

I don't know if you guys do this, because I realized that rank checker isn't all that great; but I do use the Google search engine through my web browser (make sure history is clear) on my laptop and computer manually searching that keyword. I also ask my friends who don't know jack crap about internet marketing to go on Google to check that keyword as well. And then I go on my smart phone to check it as well, and what do you know ? There goes my keyword sitting in between page 1-2.

Unless, of course you guys know a LEGITIMATE pure on rank checking tool then great. But yeah, that's something that worked for me. Using different devices, and asking my friends . I just feel like there really is no need to panic when you use a tool and it says it's not ranked. At the end, it's probably in the border line of page 1-2 or 2-3 or whatever, and that it's just breakdancing its way to the finish line.
