Tmbler vs. Stumbleupon

well actually that is all depend on how you use them.. in thumblr you can some contents to create micro site or mini site. you can also use it for blogs and journals.. while in stumble upon is a web2.0 or social networking site where in you can post links pointing to your site. also you can use it as social bookmark to gain traffic. well for me I choose both.

I've had the best success with stumbleupon, however stumbleupon users are generally just browsing so not many of those visitors returned or delved deeper into my sites.

Depending on how you are going to use it. Tumblr is used commonly for blog posts, photographies, an online store page or something like that. It's like a smaller version of what you see in websites. If you use it for valuable content, I strongly suggest Tumblr.

Comparison would be unfair because both are different type of sites and have different user behavior. Tumblr is a micro blogging portal whereas stumbleupon is social sharing/bookmarking portal.
