Predictions for next PR update?

Now that the longest taking one in the history of PR is here where do we go from here?

I say the next one happens sometime in the summer jun-aug.

I heard that pagerank is pretty much gone I am not sure how true it is only time will tell we shall see.

I think there is going to be a lot more time in between PR updates now. I see 6 month to a year the normal now

  What google shows the public is slow in updating. But google updates PR as they
  go along, internally. The time between PR updates is actually negligible.

  so PR updates much more than what is revealed in the public toolbar stuff? Then what determines when PR is revealed to the public?

  PR fluctuates constantly. As far as what determines when it's revealed to us? Who knows? Basically, whenever Google dang-well feels like it.

Pr update happened last couple of days ago. supposedly it will be updated next year but I guess PR update is excited LOLS. but PR is now getting lesser and lesser important. webmasters are diversifying their effort on social media to gain traffic and trust.

I'm definitely not the type of SEO who is above PR.

I was giddy like a little schoolgirl when they rolled out their last toolbar update.

But predicting the next one? Why? The only people that REALLY care about PR updates are link sellers and site flippers.

Let's just enjoy our early Christmas present and get on with ranking our sites.

  All this means is that the update that just occurred is still a delayed update. There is no current measure of PR that reflects precisely what your site is at this very moment. The update that just happened is already several months behind, though we treat it as if it's a fresh reflection of what our sites are today.

  I'm hoping it will be at least 6 months from now, so I can have enough time to get another 3 more ranks

I don't think they're going to stop PR updates anytime soon. Pagerank updates help contribute to spam [such as link selling]. If there was no pagerank there would be less spam and no need for Google spam department. Seriously, I think they love spam!

  I tell her that besides the page shes on the rest of the blog doesn't have much use hahaha (although I know a single page on a site can have PR while the rest of the site is 0's and N/A's.....)
  
  So actually my woman is the reason why I am farting around with this PR stuff again lol

Funny thing is, despite being updated im not going back to using it. I was probably one of the last out of my group to jump off the pr bandwagon but im glad I did. I feel like the other metrics when combined are far more reliable than pr for judging the strength of a domain. And ive already got a good routine going. Good month for link sellers I suppose, unless your sh*t dropped. :p
