Hi,
I would like to ask what's the main difference between dofollow and nofallow backlinks? Which one is better and why? Also I would like to know about EDU and GOV backlinks. Are thay better than high PR backlinks?
Thanks.

Matt Cutts has argued that .com domains have as much relevance to Google as a .gov or .edu domain. But many people swear by backlinks from those sites as most will have higher page rank and greater authority with Google. On this point, Google seems to be contradictory. Of course, it's up to you as to whether or not you get a backlink from one of those sites. Some people see any type of backlinking as spamming. If you are sincere about your reasons for posting a comment on a .gov or .edu site, (such as to provide a useful follow up to the blog article and not just get a backlink), then it should not backfire. But posting a random barely related comment just to get a backlink could be interpreted by Google and the site owner as spam.
