Because "as a security measure to defend you, our valued customer, from online predators and identity theft.".

Did you try calling them or providing the requested documentation?

That's where I would start. Instead of on a forum totally unrelated to the issue.

I submitted my National ID card and in reply they sent me....

Unfortunately, we have not received sufficient documentation to substantiate your account. Unless the payment method account holder provides a clear, legible copy of his/her government-issued valid photo identification, such as a driver's license or passport, the referenced account will remain in a locked status. If there are reservations regarding the security of personal information, please refer to our published Privacy and Civil Subpoena policies. Thank you, Verification Office

I know about this problem as my another account is locked and then I had to close it. So when I opened this account I submitted a support ticket asking if I use a paypal account which is not mine will it be any problem? Then they said no this is not going to be any problem. And no I am not use different credit cards. Just 1 paypal account which was actually my friend's account and nowadays I am using it. Now cant understand why they are locking my account. I described everything and asked them to unlock my account and they said...

Our verification policies have been established as precautionary measures for our customers and are non-negotiable. The processes implemented are not intended as an accusation or derogatory claim. Our goal is to reasonably ensure that the owner of the payment method has authorized the transaction(s). Your timely compliance will ensure a quick resolution. Unless the payment method account holder provides a clear, legible copy of his/her government-issued valid photo identification, such as a driver's license or passport, the referenced account will remain in a locked status. Don't you think they are not trying to understand the situation?

Are you kidding me? You really think they are Okay with you bidding on domains and paying it out of an account that does not belong to you? By Bidding on domains YOU are responsible for making payment not your friend and he can at any time claim unauthorized use and give them headaches. Further even here you are representing yourself as location USA but are talking about a national ID card????

To top it all off you already had an account locked. Sigh and you cannot understand why they red flagged your account.? Really??

Mike dont always pretend you know everything. I leave an a subcontinental country and location USA doesnt mean I never came in USA. I cant remember at this time but when I opened this WF account I think I was in Los Angeles. However I didnt change it as I didnt think about it at all.

Well it seems you didnt red my replies carefully. I asked godaddy if I use a paypal account for payment which contains different name than my godaddy account name will it be any problem? And they replied "No this will not be any problem". So now they cant close my account for this issue.

    Make sense?

I read your reply perfectly and sense? No it makes no sense whatsoever. nada. Zip. When you place a bid as is clearly spelt out YOU have a legal obligation to pay. If a third party is being used to pay then you cannot fulfill your obligation by yoursel. They can and the will lock it and they have EVERY REASON to ask and get any kind of documentation they want. Furthermore its you that needs to read carefully

You sending them your ID as you have related here does not mean squat. They are asking for proof of the PAYMENT METHOD ACCOUNT HOLDERS ID to verify they have a right to seek payment from that party and that the Paypal owner is legit.

Now its clear that you always try to quarrel with others just to establish your own ego! The support professional clearly said

"Doing that will not be a problem. The account information with us and PayPal does not have to match.Sincerely, Jason P Online Support Representative"

So either you cant read or you are just talking as you have to talk more than me!

Sorry mate that won't fly because you started this whole thread to quarrel and whine at Godaddy. Basically you just want everyone to agree with you that Godaddy is being unfair when they are not. Good luck with that.

That does not mean they don't want the ID for the Paypal owner on file as well SD. People hijack other people's Paypal accounts so they need some verification.

          However you know what?

Just keep complaining. I am sure it will solve all your problems. Meanwhile just point us to the five auctions you have bid on because when they close your account those domains if you were the winner will be up for grabs for nonpayment . Maybe we can get them on the cheap for a lower bid. .

Besides that peace to you. Whine on.

When I said I want to hypnotize everyone against godaddy? PROVE.

I asked this question as I want to know if anybody face this problem and know how to solve it. Thats all. Now it seems you are collaborated with godaddy so not willing to let people know true thing about their poor service.

Hehe now you are begging the domains from me? I did haaard work for those as I run those through Scrapebox, SEO Spyglass and ahref to check the backlink portfolio. And I seperated them from almost 12000 domains I found in registercomass. So I am not going to ruin my hard work specially telling them to you. Well I could help Yukon as he is your enemy but not you. Good luck with your spammy domain business. hehehe.

They can do whatever the heck they want, and have obviously already done so. It's their system and their auctions. Just because some rep said something at some point in history doesn't really mean anything, especially for a company like GoDaddy.

Can you ask for your friend to prove them that the account usage is not unauthorized?

Dear Arvin, Thank you for contacting Online Support about using a friends PayPal account to make a purchase. Doing that will not be a problem. The account information with us and PayPal does not have to match. As I value your feedback regarding my service, please take a moment to complete the short survey linked at the bottom of this email.
