I have 2 blogs. I want to remove some posts from my old blog and post theme again in a new blog. Will google treat these as duplicate post? if yes, how long do i wait after deleting the posts to post them again on the new address?

Thank you

    Hi there,

If Google already indexed your pages, simply deleting them from wp admin is not enough. To make sure they will no longer appear in search results you must send a remove URL request to Google.

You can do it from your Google Webmasters account:
Optimization -> Remove URLs -> Create a new removal request -> then enter the exact url of the page you want to remove -> select Remove page from search results and cache -> and then click on submit request.

You must do it for every single page and make sure you use the exact urls.

After that, it might take a few days until Google will solve your requests.

You can then check what pages are indexed by typing in Google "site:" followed by your website url, without any spaces in between and without any http://www and press enter. It will show you a list with results, all the pages indexed so far. If the ones you wanted to delete no longer appear in those search results, it means Google took them out so you’re safe to delete them and use them on your new blog.

    Hope it helped you.

Why don't you 301 the url's from the old blog to the articles on the new blog. That way you don't loose any historical link value they gained on the old blog?
