You can create and edit vector and bitmap on same canvas-same environment.
For slicing you don't have to switch to any other platform.
You can create animated gifs...

I is always better to create webdesign tailored to your requirements, instead of using fixed templates.
Development wise also best if you use Dreamweaver of Frontpage.

You can add hover effect on top horizontal links.

Remove Home link from left band, there are too many, top-left-footer.
