I'm more a fan of the redirection plugin,
wordpress dot org /extend/plugins/redirection/

You do need to go in and manually do the 301 redirects, but the beauty of this plugin is that you can get...

Based on my experience, I have seen sites that I have converted to WP gain better rankings within 1 month. I'm not an SEO guru or anything, but I have seen sites getting less than 100 visits per day...

The only theme I use is iThemes Builder. It is such and incredible and powerful theme. Its on sale until the end of the year for 79 bucks. The support and tutorials alone are worth that price.
