I don't know what's going on but I had a HUGE drop in traffic starting on 10/12 From like 2000 visitors a day to like 500 visitors a day.

To my knowledge I don't thing how long they stay on the page factors in the bounce rate. Right? Just whether or not they clicked onto another page.
