Got Thousand of dead backlinks - traffic down

It's so that I received soon 2k dead backlinks from a site that doesn't exist. And they do inrease as google update backlinks stats.

I wonder about how I can fix this problem?

There is a difference in linkexchange and linkexchange in my opinion.

To exchange links with others related sites manually shouldn't be too bad for SEO, but contra wise.

So I installed Voltrank 6 days ago and saw directly traffic drop from google, like 75 % is what Clicky says. My site is being updated daily with unique and legal content by me. I don't see any other...
