Directory submission - manual or using software?

Hi,

i see a lot of people around here and also on other webmaster related forums which offer their directory submission service for low prices.
Most of these persons say that they submit to directories manually.

How can you tell if the submissions were made manually or using a software?

    Im not sure if there IS a way to detect that... IMHO using software that semi automates the process is the best. By semi automation I mean AutoFills

    I would always recommend manual over automated.

    With manual you are sure to be placing your site in the correct category

      I don't think you guys understood my question.

      What i asked is: "How can you tell if a person did the submissions manually or by using a sofware?"

      I'm asking this because i see there are a lot of guys offering their manual submission services for cheap.

    I don't know if there is a software that can detect it.. I will post again if I found the solution to this..

    I suggest doing it manually.. There were certain submissions that I have seen and they so much appear as spams.. These are obviously works of automatic submissions.. This my be different but I have also seen some blog comments using automatic submission and the comment was awful.. So I suggest manual rather than automatic submission as you are only wasting your time..

    You would know if you check it yourself - check if your link is placed in the right category, no misspelled words, or for article submission, no duplicate content. It can really be time-consuming but if you want to make sure, you still have to allot some time for it.
