Idea for a 10k monthly profit

Have you ever done anything like this in the past i.e. have a site that makes some type of income that is related to what you are going for here? Is there anything like this out there yet that you can show as a model to a possible buyer/ business partner? I would suggest if you really believe this can pull that type of money but you are held back due to funding then get a feasible business plan wrote up and pitch it to an investor or set up a jv with someone here. But to get someone who doesn't know you and you are a fairly new member with low post so you are really going to have to have a great pitch to get any serious bitters.

I guess to sum it up if you really beleive in this then don't sell it. I am sure you are thinking you can sell it then take that money to turn around and have funding to start and finish the same idea yourself but maybe whoever you sell to has more funding so they can dominate the serps faster and better than you. Creating future competition for yourself...

Look at this :

Bookkeeping Services, Accountants - Mazuma

They are asking people to put all their financial information in an envelope and send it to them. Right away you're thinking, this won't work, it will get lost in the post, why would someone not just open that envelope, and steal all their info? it will get wet if it rains, plus it's in a purple envelope, that just screams "free private financial info" doesn't it? besides, it's fairly easy to duplicate.

And yet how many offices do they have now? do you think that can be easily duplicated? of course it can. A magician always thinks that his tricks are very easily revealed, but how many times have you watched a magician and been really mystified as to how it's done?

What makes them successful? they have an idea which seems faulty (in fact it practically invites theft) and yet...

Maybe it's because they are honest? as long as you are honest, it's fine. It will take a long time for anyone to do what you did, and if they did so what, you will still have your loyal clients. As long as your marketing is good, I think you will survive.

Paypal, is that easily cloned? yes it is and it has been. They also do things like freeze accounts for months. They are still around and still market leaders, because they have never stolen money from anyone. Large amounts of money has never suddenly disappeared from a paypal account overnight for no apparent reason. It works and that's what people are more concerned about.

I'm sure you can sell it for 2-5K, people have paid other people more than that to develop something like that.

And even if you don't or can't, I'm sure you have other ideas that you can try.

  Who knows? it's got so many flaws, and yet... they seem to be doing really well. If this isn't proof that people think too much, then I don't know what is lol.

Even without revenue, your site has a good chance of selling, but you'll never reap the reward of the hard work you've put in to get it to this stage.

Even a little revenue can make a huge difference in proving the concept works and hence you'll see a greater return. Alternatively, maybe you could find a partner to do the marketing for you for a rev share agreement?

Hi,

I am looking to sell anytime soon.

How would I proceed from here? Flippa.com / Warrior buy/sell is probably too "risky" in terms of copycats etc.

What I have here, is a complete business-model complete with branding and everything, and the system is already proven to generate great income.

What I want to find is a serious investor, who prefferably already has had experience with B2B, advertising etc. that will know what a huge potential this is.

Last month when I showed a close buddy of mine how to make money from blogs he was pretty impressed and said that he owed me about $10. Finding me clueless he told me about Gighour(dot)com. This is a freelancing site where you can do anything you are good at to earn money as a freelancer. On my friend's advice I logged in to the site and posted as a gig that I can give about 100 tips of making money from blogs. And trust me, it worked. I have found buyers consistently. Eventually I have found out that many friends of mine freelance in Gighour(dot)com and earn fast bucks regularly. And as I said it's not only about serious stuffs like writing SEO articles for someone and the like. You can even increase traffic to someone's youtube video to earn money.

Find someone to JV with or find an investor. I doubt that you will be able to sell it to anyone. (my personal advice)

It sounds really great.I think if you have some unique contents and unique ideas then people can buy your entire site.I can remember a site northxeast that was sold for $8400 and the site had pr 4.What you can do now that place the site in different website selling and buying site like flippa.

Hi Guys,

I chose to try and sell my website, and it was sold for $1000 profit.
It was more than I expected to get, but much less that I wanted to sell for.

However, still I think this is a high price for a website that has shown no traffic, nor made any income at all so far.

Unless you've already got an already established domain, this would be difficult to sell, wouldn't it? It's not like you have the idea patented. What is stopping people from starting their own service of this kind for free rather than purchasing the idea?
