Need Advice on JV system.

Hello warriors, I was wondering if you could provide me with an answer. I am just about to release an info product and start trying to recruit JV's. I was just wondering what the general feeling is about CB vs. other systems. I picked up a copy of Rapid Action Profits which is a sales/affiliate/JV management software that has some great features including instant payment to the affiliate's/JV's paypal account. It also provides each affiliate to log in and check there own stats. Since this would be hosted on my own secure server do you guys think that I would be limiting my potential JV's with this Vs. going with CB? RAP allows me to pay more than the 75% that CB does so I would like to use it for a 100% front end and a 50% back end. What do you think? Am I limiting my JV's by staying away from CB?

    Hi Dave,

I wouldn't normally jump in this early, simply because you're asking for an evaluation of my product, vs. another (and you really should see what others have to say).

    But...

Are you recruiting JV's - or affiliates? There is a difference!

You may want to allow JV partners to participate in your product launch, give them a different commission rate from the rate you offer normal affiliates, or give them an override commission on sales made by affiliates that they recruit into your program.

CB has NO provision for creating a separate type of relationship for JV partners.

Quite the opposite! With CB, you play by their rules. With your own affiliate program, you get to make your own rules.

The only major benefit to Clickbank over having your own affiliate program, is that they have a pool of affiliates that can be exposed to your product, and hopefully, promote it. (I say hopefully, because they do little to bring new products to their affiliates' attention). For the past year, RAPBank has been available to provide the same benefit for RAP-driven products (see my sig). In addition, the instant commission features of RAP have made it dead easy to recruit affiliates, even without an affiliate network like RAPBank.

    Hope this helps,

RAP is a good system, and Sid gives great support along with having a good users group that can help and potentially promote.

You might look at digiresults as well, as another alternative, since they offer some of the features of RAP and have a pool of affiliates.

Probably won't hurt to try several places and see how they go for your product.
