Hello, i got quite a bunch of interested people, here some more numbers to work with:

If we charge $800/monthly for SEO for serious businesses and Google rankings, we need 25 customers for $20k/monthly.

For a VA/freelancer i take $6-$7/hr as an average (i know some good guys who are willing to work for this amount, want to avoid the very cheap VAs for $3 since i want QUALITY people working long term for us).

With assumed 25 customers i think a team of 10 people working for us (4hrs/day, 20 days/month) should cut it...which is a ROUGHLY estimated $5600 cost monthly for our team of SEOs. Do the math: $20k revenue and $5600 costs nets us approx. $14.5k/month. YES those are estimates.

The "idea" of this business in a nutshell is to have two layers of outsourcing, one person's tasks is solely to get us clients (biz owners, website owners)..the other "layer" is the SEOs and linkbuilders.

If we charge anything from $500 - $800 monthly for businesses we will HARDLY offer crap services like profile links from $10 - we want RESULTS and really provide a good ranking service to site owners.

I have personal experience, eg. ranking one of my latest sites in google.co.uk #3 for "lose weight" and "lose weight fast". On *google.com* this site is at #4 for "lose weight fast" and #11 for "lose weight", just as an example because this was really a very competitive keyword.

I understand all the factors from on-site SEO to off-site strategies as well as tools and services necessary to achieve rankings. In this case, we/i are not doing the rankings...but my expertise helps in evaluating our team of linkbuilders as well as assign them the necessary tasks for RESULTS.

Advantage of this business:

* Investment minimal - eg. unless we have biz customers for the SEO we don't need to pay people doing the link building, this should be obvious. We hire our linkbuilders once we have contracts with website owners - we dont "risk" or speculate with money.

* Solid, straight forward.

* Expandable/Scalable..eg. if we have a team of linkbuilders we can also let them work on our own sites...eg. we can also let our SEO/link builders work on projects like website flipping/re-flipping..we acquire websites on flippa, they SEO/rank them for more traffic/revenue and we can re-sell the sites...

Why would you dilute your profits for some inexpensive outsourced VA's? What would you be investing in the project?

I ask this because I own an outsourcing company. Let's say I gave you at least 2 (3? 5?) VA's to work with that are quality. Why would you want me...wouldn't it be better to just pay for the VA's yourself and keep all the profits?

I think it's an interesting offer, but I'd want to see some "skin in the game" so to speak, rather than a promise to work hard and assurances that you'd do all the training. If I'm putting in cash, what are you putting up?

i dont know what you mean by "diluting profits" because this business plan doesn't imply sharing profits with the freelancers, at least not on the SEO side of things.

The SEOs/linkbuilders are getting paid hourly rate whereas the estimated $7/hr are already quite reasonable in terms of pay. (I am not interested in random $3/link builders at the moment)

The only profit sharing in this plan for now is between my partner (investor) and me PLUS we will give an incentive to the ONE VA which will be acquiring clients, which will be a percentage of the estimated fee the client(s) will pay us...in addition to the hourly pay. This just for motivation and doing dedicated work.

As for VAs in general - i really do have very high expectations, especially for VA #1 since he will do client contacts [i likely already have a person for this task].

But also the SEOs must know more than your average "i spam blogs with links" etc. or people who sell profile links. I want dependable people (with the goal to build a whole team/employees) which will dedicated to work for us LONG TERM. This will mainly concern doing respectable work in actual RANKING RESULTS, knowing most/all the tools of the trade and/or high willingness to learn/use things if they need to be trained. (For example how to use blog networks and similar).

Your question what i will be putting in is a legit one, for now it is really "only" that i provide a working business idea/model where i THINK it is solid with the outlook that someone who is investing will get multiples of their Investment back.

For an investor, it could be irrelevant because if you get 5x, 10x or more ROI..what else do you need?

However, beyond the experience i have in that field there are other things i can do, for example establishing a web site for the company (if we need one) respective using my own web site and make them into the main company web site - plus other things like having an eye for and experience in things like keyword/niche research..which could come in handy if we want to integrate a side-arm of website-flipping into the company.
(I mention this since it is VERY attractive to do so since the SEOs would do the exact same work, it can serve as a backup or simply second stream of income, eg. when there should be a shortage on clients for the actual re-selling of the SEO...then they work on those sites to establish rankings/traffic so they can re-sold for profit.

Just saying there is LOTS of things you can do with a team of good linkbuilders - our business is NOT limited to only re-selling the SEO. More options, more profit! And i think i have the advantage i know about many of such things - limited only by funds because all this needs outsourcing which is beyond my personal financial limits.
