Potential to make MILLIONS.. need mentor
I'm going to apologize in advance for the vagueness, but it is absolutely mandatory.
I run a blog that gets quite a bit of traffic. I post videos/blog entries that garner 200k - 1 million views. (The average is about 250k). A little over 200k subscribers. I have a very devoted following and my fans genuinely love the work I put out. Been featured on television as well as large magazine publications.
My work is mainly in the self-help industry. I release information that is very easily digestible for the masses and the quality exceeds that of many "pay-for" services in the same field.
I have an extreme passion for what I do and that is the main reason it is so successful. I have been monetizing with ads, however I have definitely NOT yet taken advantage of the full monetizing power I have.
When it comes to traditional "marketing" I lack the knowledge. My success has stemmed from talent and accessibility.. not marketing. Everything I have put out has marketed itself. I never do any sort of promotion.
At this point I have a lot of options, however I'm not sure the best route to go with. I'm making this post in hopes of getting some sort of direction. I fear losing a chunk of my audience because they may feel I have "sold out". However, I don't view it like that. If I were able to better monetize what I do the content quality would also improve. I would be able to spend 100% of my time/resources doing what I love.
Right now, I'm a little conflicted on what to do and the right course of action. I was recommended to post here and seek a credible mentor.
