there seems to be some confusion as to why I use quotes when checking for position of my videos, so I will try to clear that up for you.

Here is a definition of the 3 methods that Google Adwords Keyword Tool uses.

Broad match = Contains all the words, may be in any order, and may include other words

Phrase match = Contains all the words, in order, and may include other words before or after the phrase

Exact match = Contains only these words in this order

Example
first page on google (without punctuation) will show the Broad match results, i.e. how many people type in search queries that include all of these words, but not necessarily in that order, and possibly among other words too.

So that is not an accurate reflection on the results that someone would get if they typed our chosen keyword first page on google.

"first page on google" (inside quotes) is showing the Phrase match results, i.e. how many people type in search queries that include those words in that exact order.

In quotes it does show accurate results for our chosen keyword.
Most people don't know you can put quotes round a phrase in Google but the Phrase-match results don't mean that someone has used quote marks!

We don't use the exact match option.
