Best way to ask for Joint Venture.

Greetings,

I am looking to do a small time partnership with someone interested providing web products to local businesses in my area.

I have a couple people in mind who are friends of friends or acquaintances that I know have good web skills.


Anyone have any suggestions on the best to way to ask them?

Should I suggest a 50/50 split right away... etc...?

    Not sure exactly what services you are after? i.e web design, and are you planning on doing half the work? or just planning on providing the customers and putting a mark up on it?
