Does Anybody Do This?

Is there anybody that breaks out of their comfort zones and participate in JV's outside of the Internet Marketing niche? Anybody do anything where they take their internet marketing prowess and apply it to non-internet marketing products?

It would seem that if some are as skilled as many claim to be, folks would be inclined to be adventurous and eager to try new things. But, the overall temperature and response to some things that I've seen posted don't seem to embrace that.

I'd be interested to see what people think.

    One of the problems I find is that whilst I'm able to effectively market non-IM related products, promote them, and profit from them, finding people within non-IM niches who have a clue about IM procedures is difficult.

    Real experts in non-IM niches are more inclined to think any offer of a JV is a scam. Mailing list swaps are harder to find. Buyers are also generally more skeptical.

    Don't get me wrong, the most money to be made isn't necessarily in IM, and IM isn't even really a niche of mine in comparison to my others, but IM is just so easy to market in comparison. Obtaining relevant backlinks are easier, SEO is easier, non-targeted advertisements are more likely to strike sales (everyone wants to make money from home) etc.

    But you do raise a valid point, and I think that anyone who would truly consider themselves to have any real experience in IM would have plenty of niches outside of the IM or "make money online" niches.

      Good input. You're definitely in the minority on this issue as you can see by the lack of responses. The hesitance to embrace other ideas is alarming when you consider half of this forum is comprised of people who claim to be real creative thinkers and they're always pissing in the face of doubters.

      It's really kind of comical when you look at it.

    I think it depends where you are looking and are exposed to. If you look on an internet marketing forum full of experts, then you'll likely find....
