Should I start afresh on twitter and linkedin

Hi,

I have recently joined as the content manager for my company and I see that although our company has two accounts in twitter and linkedin respectively there has not been much activity and the content posted also hasn't got any retweets and shares. My immediate superiors want me to revive those accounts but I feel it is better to start afresh. Will it be good to delete my old accounts and start afresh?

    i dont see the difference.. you can revive those accounts and post new content..how would that be different from starting new acnts..other than that you'll have to re register your company..
    you can work either way.. since it doesnt have an impressive history it'll be the same for you
