After you create your epic content, what you usually will do next?

Would u Post the content on the blog and then blash them to twitter, facebook, stumbleUpon, pinterst, reddit, and 100 other social site or bookmarking site?

Is that the right way to do social media marketing?
If not then what is the right way to do it?

I would post a little info of the content with link to the site or blog on social networking sites like you mentioned above. You can use more that a hundred of these sites if you can, but I would just use the most commonly used and highly-populated social networking sites like Facebook, twitter, pinterst, etc. All you need is to be active, build your network, post infos on a regular basis, use social ads and some apps to promote your business.

I totally agree with John. I focus primarily on facebook. There's almost a billion users. You get more out of your time just being there. I don't get the same results with twitter, so I don't use it. Some people say you have to, but I think it's a waste of time to be honest. Pinterest is worth the time.

If you get your network active on facebook, you'll automatically get stumbled, shared, liked, etc...on all the other hundreds of sites by the people that follow you on facebook & use these other social sites. I don't even use pinterest, but lots of my stuff gets shared there by my facebook peeps.

It's the 80/20 principle. You'll get the most out of the Facebook & Pinterest. Who has time for anything else?

I would also stick to a main social networks. Quality over quantity. There is top 5 social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, LinkedIn. I've also had some pretty good leads using Quora and even Foursquare.
Actually it all depends from a niche you choose. If you are, for example in some kind of a music niche and have a website something like "Guitar Tips" , selling affiliate products related to the guitar (ebooks or reselling something from Amazon and Ebay) , then you will probably have more benefits from good old Myspace , comparing to Google+.

One pretty simple but powerful tip - if you want to blast a bunch of social networks, then rather point a backlink to one of your "offsites". Why? Because if Google penalize you, it won't penalize your main website, it will penalize your offsite. Create a Blogspot and make a "Blog" subpage. Leave the information on that page "if you want to know great tips about [your niche] you should head over to a [your main website link in anchor text]. You will find a lot of advanced methods about [your niche] there."
Of course rewrite it, don't use this, it is not catchy, I have just made it. "

That's good. But I would like to ask why only 5 social media platforms, when there are so many good sites you can take advantage of.

There are two main methods, trying to get targeted followers, or trying to get a large volume of followers. You really should be doing both in my opinion, regardless of what you're doing, but I mainly get volume of followers. I focus on Twitter, then Facebook, then You Tube, then Google Plus then Linked In, then Stumble Upon, and I don't see how people get traffic from Pinterest, but somebody must have figured out how it works. I can get you any of these things if you want some help. I can also share your site with my tens of thousands of connections for a Fiverr gig.

it is the right way to market a product or service we sell, ..
because of the way such blash throughout social media will be easily found by the search ..
but it should be noted as well, not too often because it would be considered junk then just a promotion that is not useful ..
Another way of effective marketing is through a blog, create a free blog site that then we give a link that leads to our sales site ..

    Good luck and success ...

Social media channel is a good way of increasing a company’s trustworthiness and awareness. Social networks help to get more leads and generate a powerful traffic for your website. Also, you always have an access to the customers' real feedbacks, and you can build a huge promotional campaign for free. Another importance of social media marketing is the fact that it allows you to discover your customers’ preferences. All that will help you increase ROI. Here are some SMM tips you may find useful http://mashable.com/2009/10/28/small...ess-marketing/

I think that's true, because the more links we shared, the more the chance that a website gets lots of visitors.

    regards success.

SMM is building the right reputation around your brand. It helps to interact with customers, inform them about some updates and changes, gather real-time feedbacks and increase awareness. What you are saying is not absolutely right. Promoting the blog posts is just a part of SMM strategy. You should create your page, upload the information, share interesting and relevant content every day etc. It's not only about advertising, it's about gaining customers' loyalty.

You could also give Digg a try. What is Digg?
Digg is a user driven social content website. Ok, so what the heck does that mean? Well, everything on Digg is submitted by the community (that would be you). After you submit content, other people read your submission and Digg what they like best. If your story rocks and receives enough Diggs, it is promoted to the front page for the millions of visitors to see.

In order to get the most reach for content, I would also create a video and put it on You Tube with the same title and link the video to your content.

    Hi jasonkk47!

The thing you said in your post is part of the game plan. Syndicate your content to all social sites possible. In order for you to do that, you have to make a rss feed out of your blog so that your content will be submitted automatically. Make sure that the social site your are posting too accepts rss feeds.

You could also do schedule posting such as in facebook, twitter. Focus on efficiency along with quality. But remember the term "social". Have the time to interact with your audience and let them feel that you are a real person or authority.
