Posts are not being distributed on Fan Page

Hi,

I have a fan page with over 80k fans(real ones, made through advertisment), but my posts are not distributed as much as they should....

I have some posts with over 500-600 likes and just 4-5k views which is extremly low.

This is the fan page: https://www.facebook.com/ActionMovieAddict

Do you know what can I do to the get a higher number of people to see my posts?

Recently Facebook decided to 'cull' people's page post views slightly.
Their thinking was that if a user doesn't engage regularly with a page, they will stop showing them the posts in their newsfeed. This means pages have to work so much harder now to achieve great visibility. PLUS posts which have high engagement levels will stay at the top of the Newsfeed longer than the posts who don't. It's all about great content and providing value to the followers.

I would suggest you try some alternative posts. Looking at your page you don't seem to have many questions on there. Why not try asking your audience which release they are looking forward to next year or similar? Or get them to vote on which Action Movie was the best so far this year. That type of thing.

Also, you could create a post with a give away or offer for tickets to see a premiere (depending on budget) and then promote the post or create a sponsored story? That will raise your profile again and get people interacting.. this is the aim to keep those people there.

Also, look at your posts and your insights. What type of posts are you making. What time of day/week.
There's also a tool called likealyzer (.com) which can show some good insights into your page likes.
Hope this gives you some ideas at least...

I've heard some ways around Facebook's new limits are to use text posts or text posts with links only. Apparently they get more views that photo or photo preview posts. You might try to that to see if you have any luck. If not you will have to pay to "boost" your post.

If your subscribers add your page in their interest lists, or they check mark on get notification, this is the way they can see all posts of your page,

I've found my link posts are getting considerably less views this week. Text and photo posts are still doing pretty well, though.

My image posts always get way more views than just regular posts with text and link.

In the end it has to be engaging and people are probably getting less receptive to the ordinary stuff, time to get more creative.
