FB Ad Spend & Teespring?

Ok, how do you all go about your ad spend?

We have been starting at $10 for the first day of the t-shirt campaign. After the initial $10 spend, we make a determination as to how viable the campaign may be. We look at CTR, FB interaction, and sales.

My question is, how much of an increase should we do with campaigns that we deem are going to be successful? We usually double the spend if more than 2 shirts sold and try to incrementally increase it from there.

But how much is too much to spend? What metrics do you use to determine the increase?

TIA!

As with any PPC, there's a ton of variables to consider here; Objective, bidding, niche, etc.

With OCPM, I'm not a big fan of just doubling the budget... cost will almost always increase... and you just might turn a winning campaign into a loser... but you can always lower your budget again from there.

And $10 for a whole day? Too slow for me, I want to know within a few hours MAX if a campaign is going to "fly" so I can move on, or scale from there.

I would say, don't increase your budget more than about 25% on any given day.
