[Closed] - Hiring Additional General Support Person

My client is looking to hire an additional person to do general support:

We're a very small Internet Business, and among other things we offer software (Word Press and desktop apps) mainly for Niche Research and Traffic Optimization.

We're looking for a friendly, smart and dedicated person to help us with general support for a period of 4 weeks.

Essential Qualifications:
• Native English or comparable English skills
• You're polite and friendly. We don't put up with rude customers, but we expect our support to always be polite and professional.
• Very good communication skills. Customer background varies, and so does their grasp of the English language. Sometimes figuring out what they want, and explaining things in terms the customer can understand, requires very good communication skills.
• Ability to work each day Mon to Fri (tickets need to be done daily), and be able and willing to stay in touch with us daily. We offer flexible hours, but you need to take care of support tickets at least once per workday.
• You're reliable. If you can't be around for whatever reason, you let us know as soon as you can so that we can plan. If you can't handle all the work we gave you, you let us know asap so that we can assign it to somebody else. And we can trust you to handle tickets with the goal to make the customers go "wow" about our business.
• You got a brain and are willing to use it. ;-) seriously, though, common sense, pro-activeness and active thinking are required. If you just want an easy job where you follow detailed instructions, please don't apply
• Ability to communicate with us in our time zone (we're on UK/European time)

Desirable Qualifications:
• Customer support experience
• A basic understanding of internet marketing (e.g. SEO, backlinking, niche blogs) helps to understand customer questions, and to phrase things to them

Your Tasks:
Your main task will be General support. Depending on your skills and background, and on how things are developing when you work for us, you could get more responsibility over time. Since we're a small team, we might also ask you to help out with other tasks occasionally.

Work Environment:

• We're a small team of mostly part-time staff, located in different countries
• You will work from the luxury of your own home
• Regular communication with us via Skype (text and voice) and email
• Flexibility (we know life happens sometimes, and as long as you communicate that clearly, we're doing our best to be flexible. On the other hand, we expect you to do your best to be flexible when we have peak times e.g. during a product launch)
• You'll be paid via a weekly Paypal mass payment. And we need an invoice (e.g. as PDF file) from you to process the payment.
