PHP Programmer: Need Dual Sign Up Form
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I am looking for a PHP programmer or another type of programmer that can create a form or line of code that would add people to two different Aweber lists. So for example I have a business partner and he and I release a lot of products together.

We would like to both be able to capture our buyer leads into our separate Aweber accounts. So we would like to have one form that after people sign up places them onto both of our Aweber lists.

I know this is possible as I have signed up for webinars, giveaway events, and other products in the past and received two confirmation messages from Aweber each from the different product creator or business partner.

Can you create a form for us that would allow us to do this? Basically we would like to just have the line of code or something where we can just put in both of our Aweber list names and let it automatically add them to our lists.

Just post your bid or send me a private message with questions or a bid!

Thanks,

Paul Counts

I might have a friend that will do this for you, I'll pass this message on to him and get back to you.

Cheers,
Jake.

Hi Paul,

Well, the only possibility is... by sending 2 emails.. create your own form rather using aweber form.. and in the backend.. send email to your aweber list/s.

eg. yourlistname@aweber.com and partnerlistname@aweber.com

And then both of you need to create parser in aweber

Hope this helps.

While what you are asking to do is technically possible, and actually not even that difficult though the way I know to do it would take more than one line of code, it could end up causing you lots of problems including getting you in trouble with Aweber itself and is not recommended. At least not with that email service.

See the following for more info:

Can I Submit Subscribers to AWeber via Another Script? :: AWeber Knowledge Base

A better solution that would be acceptable to both Aweber and your subscribers would be to have a second form on the thank you page that is pre-filled out using the data passed through from Aweber as stated at the bottom of the page I referenced above.

That way, you sell the person on giving you their contact info for the first list, then you simply ask them to click & submit to join the second as a bonus. They don't have to fill anything out, so you should get a high click through while remaining in good standing with Aweber.

While you might not get everyone to click through on the second signup form with this method, at least you would drastically reduce your chances of getting spam complaints, and at best you would look like a hero to your subscribers by giving them more respect. Somewhere in the middle, you would be able to reinforce your relationship with them, and perhaps even upsell them on something else.

Hope this helps, and if you still want the php script, just let me know.

I somehow disagree with that (specially about sending subscriber thru email), I am very much aware of aweber terms and the way they want subscriptions to be done.

They have a feature called parser where you can send the subscription info via email and get those details added to the your list.

They themselves have parser for scripts that send buyer information to aweber via email like
DL Guard
DigitalAccessPass
Fantasos
Extreme Member
Membergate
Memberwing
Nanacast
Wishlist

And I myself using aMember script which send email to my list and has been confirmed with aweber if it would comply with their TOS and they have no problem.

HOWEVER in this case, (which sending to 2 different accounts) Paul needs to confirm with aweber
